Seyi Tinubu Recieves accolades As Most Behaved As Balaami Defend

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and youth advocate, Comrade Isaac Balami, has defended Seyi Tinubu against recent criticisms, emphasizing that he deserves recognition, not condemnation, for his selfless contributions to national unity.

Balami argued that, unlike many children of past presidents who distance themselves from the public, Seyi Tinubu remains committed to uplifting Nigerians through humanitarian efforts. Speaking to the media in Abuja on Monday, Balami highlighted that Seyi Tinubu continues to engage with communities across the country, irrespective of political or religious affiliations.

The former Trade Union Congress (TUC) Spokesperson dismissed the backlash against Seyi Tinubu’s recent northern tour as politically motivated. He insisted that Tinubu’s continuous acts of goodwill should be applauded rather than criticized.

“Seyi Tinubu deserves to be honored for his dedication to national unity and progress,” Balami stated. “His humanitarian outreach cuts across political and religious lines.”

Dismissing claims that Tinubu’s visit to the North had ulterior motives, Balami remarked: “Those who criticize Seyi Tinubu’s efforts understand that his actions signify not just personal success, but a victory for young people as well.”

He further argued that before speculations arose about Seyi Tinubu’s potential political ambitions, his philanthropic efforts were never seen as controversial. According to Balami, Tinubu’s outreach to diverse communities and the underprivileged has positioned him as a symbol of peace and unity.

The youth advocate also noted that many Nigerians would be proud to have a child like Seyi Tinubu, stating: “Which parent would not pray for a child dedicated to doing God’s will rather than seeking human approval?”

Encouraging young politicians and business leaders to follow Tinubu’s example, Balami added: “Instead of discouraging him, Nigerians should urge young politicians, local government administrators, and entrepreneurs to support those in need, just as Seyi Tinubu has done.”

Balami recalled that Seyi Tinubu began his Iftar outreach 10–15 years ago, long before his father became president. “Are critics suggesting he should stop simply because his father now leads the country? What exactly is wrong with the president’s son reaching out to those in need or spending time with northern Muslims during Ramadan?”

He also dismissed claims that Tinubu’s gesture was politically motivated. “Even if politics were involved, what is wrong with that? We know how children of past presidents behave.
